Panelists ponder the kernel at Linux Collaboration Summit

The Linux Collaboration Summit, which took place last week in San Francisco, brought together key members of the Linux community and broadly facilitated discussion on a wide range of topics. Among the most engaging aspects of the event are its numerous discussion panels, which consist of moderated dialogue between prominent figures in the open source software ecosystem and the broader technology industry. Summit attendees participated by asking questions that partially guided the direction of the discussions.

The kernel panel was one of the most technical discussions that took place during the event. The panel, which was moderated by Linux Weekly News editor Jonathan Corbet, included developers Andrew Morton, Greg Kroah-Hartman, Keith Packard, and Ted Ts’o.
